Description

The IS215UCVDH7AM is a double-slot UCVD Controller that is part of the Mark VI Turbine Control System.It uses a 300 MHz AMD K6 Processor and is contains 8 MB of flash memory. It uses an ethernet port on the faceplate of the module to provide connectivity to the UDH.

This is a VME controller that runs on a preemptive multitasking operating system based on the QNX platform. The operating system allows the scheduled execution of a igh priority task control to interrupt the execution of a medium/low priority control task.

The IS215UCVDH7AM model is a dual-board computer designed to be installed in a VME rack. Since the I5215UCVDH7AM board is a VE controller, it will share a common processor platform with different driver LAN connector options to suit specific applications within the VME rack. This model is used in industrial applications requiring high speed and reliability.

The S215UCVDH7A board has 1 DLAN+ interface, 2 Genius interfaces, and 2 ISBus interfaces. All these interfaces are located on the front panel of the S215UCVDH7A board. The DLAN+ interface has a variety of communication services, including direct access to all 255 Status pages. Directed and group command messages can be sent to any device Status page as long as instructions from the user logic have been established.

In terms of LED indicators, there are ten, including status LED, slot 1 LED, activity LED, ENETLED and several others. The activity LED will indicate that the microprocessor is active.
