The XCL8010A Controller Module can communicate with a variety of other devices (see Fig. 4), including any combination of up to sixteen Panel I/O Modules and/or LONWORKS devices (e.g. room controllers). A total of 381 data-points (of all types, e.g. internal virtual data-points and hardware data-points) are permitted. Typically, HVAC applications require an equal number of internal virtual data-points and hardware data-points. Up to 40 m distance between the XCL8010A and the Panel I/O Modules.
The XCL8010A Controller Module is equipped with an HMI Interface (RJ45 socket serving as a serial port) for the connection of HMIs, e.g.: x the XI582 Operator Interface or x a laptop (with XL-Online / CARE).
